As I prepare for what I’m currently calling a “gebofal 2.0” ritual, I started doing a little research on what others have done along these lines, and came upon Frater Sorath’s work to receive the first Enochian call (which was apparently “not to be spoken”). He received the following text: “Pereji! No-cama, zod ol… zodirope. Niisa sonuf aainu pal pereji. “No-cama” casaremeji, abai, zil olanu. Madriax ta rior. Vaoan o zodo do pe malpereji. “NIISO!” casaremeji caosagi, cocasabe od IAD micalazoda. Zodameranu! Odo cicale qaa. Micama pal pereji!”
I like to review other practitioners’ work from time to time, mainly to see what I can learn. I decided to take a look at Frater Sorath’s received transmission simply because the spelling was a bit different, yet it certainly looked like Enochian. One thing I noticed was the use of an extended Z into the early Modern English version of that letter, “zod,” which may mean that the phrase “of God,” can be appended in the translation such as from MOZ (Joy) to MOZOD (Joy of God).
Because Frater Sorath mentioned that a word was to be moved, I went ahead and moved the word “OL.” There was also the syllable “nu,” which seemed more like noa(s/n/ln), which are variations of the English word “to become,” but actually this follows the Golden Dawn pronunciation.
Interpreting this with Dee’s original spelling of the Enochian words (cf. Fr. Leitch’s The Angelical Language, Vol. 2), it seems closest to… : Pirgi noqo mad z-ol zodirop niisa sonf aai pal: pirgi noqo mad casarmg ol abai zilo. Madriax ta rior vaoan ozol odo dooaip malpirgi. Niiso, casarmg caosgi cocasb od IAD micaolzod! Zod-amiran! Odo cicle qaa. Micma pal pirgi!
This call could therefore be translated as (not much different from the one offered by Frater Sorath):
Fires! Servants of God, the hand was come away, [and] reigns among two separate fires, Servants of God in whom I stoop [dive] and stretch forth [or “fly“]. O you heavens, as a widow, the truth’s hands open in the name of the fires of life and increase. Come away, you in whom the Earth, time, and God are mighty. O, You Beings of the Divine, open the mysteries of your creation. Behold the two fires!
Commentary:
- the hand of God coming away seems like the tzimtzum.
- God diving and stretching forth in His servants: panentheism.
- Heavens as a widow: Could be the Mother in Heaven of Revelations 12, possibly Binah, The Daughter of Fortitude.
- The rest follows much of Frater Sorath’s video explanation.
I decided to move forward with trying out this call for myself, and here is my live review of it.
Enjoy!
