Article reprint: An Overview of the Mathematics and Astrology of the Enochian System
I recently had the pleasure of having an article on Enochian published in Telicom, the official journal of the International Society for Philosophical Enquiry (www.thethousand.com; see copyright notice at bottom). The editor-in-chief was very helpful and I’m very grateful for her and her team’s help in making the manuscript so much better. The article is a brief of an introduction to the topic of Enochian as well as some astrological and mathematical findings that the angels pointed me toward. I have attached a copy of the reprint below:

Gebofal, Day 43: The Final Week
Sunrise: Call/Key 7, (because the first call is “not to be spoken,” making this the sixth spoken call, most practitioners refer to this as call 6). Call to King Bobogel. Vibrated the god names of “ORO,” “IBAH,” and “AOZPI.” Also vibrated Governor Genadol (Aethyr of DEO) and Zodiacal King Hononol, since the number of servient angels assigned is 7706, quite close to the 7699 mentioned in the call itself (unfortunately, I was unable to solve for an exact combination of 7699 among the available numbers of servient angels assigned to a governor/king combination in an Aethyr in time for this scrying).

King Bobogel bids me relax. I do so and try to maintain the heart of compassion towards all possibilities. He says, “Now we will speak of Natural Substances and Medicine with respect to fire.
“Of course, as you have already noted, this is the final [dyad] of the powers and it relates in all of the ways that you have mentioned.” King Bobogel is showing me a human cell, and he says, “Behold the machinery of this cell.” I’m seeing ribosomes and mitochondria especially, and the general flow, and he says, “The main thing to take away here is the activity leading to energy within the cell.” So he draws my attention to the mitochondria, but now also to plants directly taking in the sun, and he’s just having me for a moment behold the wonder of it all, and I agree. It is wonderful.
Next, King Bobogel just reminds me of the energy flow going in from sun to plant, to fruit which can be eaten by us, and also sun to plant to animal, which we can then eat, and then all of us can then be eaten by fungi and broken down into the soil which is then easier for the seed of the plant to grow in.
King Bobogel bids me to just note the energy transfer at each step along the way. He says, “Medicine with respect to fire is best at helping this. The yogic technique of breath of fire: that can be helpful. The general benefit of exercise to reestablish the metabolic pathways, increasing the blood flow: all of that has to happen from a sheer burst of energy from the heart and blood vessels, so that all of the organs can be renourished.” He likens it to sunlight: you could be a planet very close to the sun, and yet if you have [too much of that blocked by the equivalent of] cloud cover, that direct source of light is would not make it to any plants that existed on it.
I ask if there be anything else with respect to medicine. “The impulse to find new medicines,” he replies, “that drive; the emotional tie to wanting to see the light of a loved one burst forth.” He uses that term “light” very particularly (likely to distinguish it from the emotional ties of water, astrologically speaking): this is a very Leonine sense of the word, but also, that carefree attitude with respect to that degree of exaltation of the sun in Aries. Also the sense of causing nature–or the state of nature–to conform to one’s will: very heavily Aries, and of course the desire to distribute medicine out of generosity to others is Sagittarius. He says that we’ll touch on these more at the noontime calling.
Now King Bobogel does something different: he relates the powers of medicine to the previous powers. “Consider the medicine to do many a thing, whether to poison or to cure.” To have this effect upon secret discovery, he mentions truth serum (and, as I type this up, the scientific process of uncovering the effects of a medicine). With respect to transportation, we speak metaphorically of curing the car that is not doing well, so maintenance, and also the journeys to seek the correct medicine. We speak with respect to transformation: of course it transforms the body into one with a healthier function. With respect to gold and precious stones, medicine makes it more meaningful, on account of one’s health enables all of the powers of the former. Otherwise, you are basically giving gold to a skeleton. With respect to mechanical arts, this is the offloading of the tasks that one must normally do with one’s own body. It is understanding both the machinery of the cell, but also the ability of prosthetics and more particularly machines (such as robotics) to reduce labor which would otherwise impact human health. This also refers to a person understanding the mechanical arts (and here we consider chemistry to be of this variety) to whereby medicine can be made. With respect to living creatures, it’s self-explanatory.
“Finally,” King Bobogel says, “now let us turn to Natural Substances. With respect to natural substances, the grand quality of fire is the ability to break down a substance into its component parts. It can split and rip away. Here we have electricity in its electrolytic sense, but just the general use of energy to split something down into its component parts.” Getting back to medicine and relating it back to it, the use of a Martial force to cut open a person and thereby study the being: to have that use of force and have that direct examination would be how these two powers relate with respect to fire.
King Bobogel wants to go through all of these. He says that the more that I meditate upon the relationship between each of these different powers, and how they relate to one another, the deeper I will go in my understanding and practice of Enochian, and the powers attained thereby.
I note energy arising from Leaf 7b and the tablet, and coming about me, and it’s like King Bobogel is wrapping about me and beginning the imprinting of this power, and he says that this noon I will be given information with respect to these two powers (medicine and natural substances) with respect to each of the individual signs, and then I will be given information with respect to all of the other powers and how they will relate to each other as well, and then we will begin the discussion of the triad (i.e., the trinity, related to the last three days, the complete understanding of which has eluded me thus far).
Thus ends the vision.
Noon: Similar procedure, but I neglected to call the Zodiacal King and Governor. Whoops!
King Bobogel points out briefly that we have already gone over a bit of the powers by sign of natural substances and medicine, and asks whether I have any questions. I ask whether my understanding is correct, and whether there be any additional powers that he, in his mercy, would wish to discuss with me. He says, “No. This much is done.” He is going to do a basic imprinting of the powers within me.
He says, once again, that this is more of a completing act, the scrying of these calls. I feel the powers of natural substances and medicine related to fire come within me, and I’m feeling them interact with the other powers of the angels of fire, as well as, to the extent that it’s possible, with the angels of the other elements.
He says he’s going to briefly begin talking about the other powers and how they relate to each other, but, he says, that tonight there’s going to be a ceremony which is to say, an unleashing of the powers within me, or rather into me, and with that, that will be the closing of that tablet. He says to recall that tomorrow that the tablet will be water, and that the moon and Jupiter (both of Cancer, one of domicile and one of exaltation) will be represented, once again a little early for Jupiter’s ingress into the fellow water sign of Pisces. “That’s okay,” he assures me.
I feel this fiery power come about me once again in this sphere. It should be burning me up, but instead this power is contained within my cells and nervous system. At the astral sense, it’s like I’m enflamed, not in a painful way, but rather empowered: the power of fire, and to feel the burning of passion within oneself, and moderating the level thereof.
I feel another shift to my subtle body, and it’s like there’s this permanent flame now about my crown chakra. King Bobogel says, “Let’s begin speaking about these powers within relationship to each other. Mechanical Arts and Transportation have already been discussed with respect to each other, but with respect to Transformation, again: just use your imagination here [to find examples of crossover powers]. The fire of the combustion of [machinery subject to] Mechanical Arts, moving to Transformation. It’s the same thing: the transformation is from fuel that you had before, [then] the input of energy, causing the fuel to transform into [carbon dioxide] gas and water vapor. It’s the Mechanical Arts to know how to build the apparatus that can do that, and that desire to do so, but also, then the transformation that goes along with that. Let’s say in the case of a gasoline-powered car, then, the fire is used to burn the fuel–Transformation–the fire causes the engine to go about according to the Mechanical Arts applied thereto, and that causes the transportation.
“Now, with respect to gold/precious stones and transportation: we’ve already had that [example], but how about the mechanical arts to create the mine and create the entire apparatus that causes that [discovery and refining of the gold and precious stones]? There’s a great deal of knowledge [regarding the mechanics of such] that needs to go with that, and an art, [for those mechanics] needs to match the characteristics of the mine as best one can [hence why it’s an art]. It can cause an entire transformation to the mine itself.
King Bobogel continues, “Let’s move on to Living Creatures. One can say, ‘The Mechanical Arts that cause the loss of habitat–it needs to be managed carefully, so you have to have Mechanical Arts to save the habitat, and to find an alternative. So, if you have the Mechanical Arts with respect to Living Creatures: it’s partly how to tame and domesticate animals, and with respect to Secret Discovery, again: we’ve already had some of that discussion,” and he’s not going to duplicate that.
He’s about to continue with Transformation on the rest of these, but instead says, “If you meditate on these over and over again,” or create a grid of all of these powers by each other, it’s probably the best way to solve this. “You will find that each of these powers relates to each other in ways, and you can find out the fiery, and the cardinal fire, and the mutable fire: you can do all of this. All of this is there.” So he’s telling me now that this was to be the example, so the rest of the work is on me to do this. I say that that’s fine, and I appreciate that.
King Bobogel closes by reiterating that tonight, he’s going to wrap up, talk about various topics and then do the initiation ritual, which is to say the initiation of all of the powers of the element of fire within me, all of these powers to their fullest extent possible. He says, “Really, the key here is to meditate upon which you have already learned, and to apply it appropriately and with Wisdom.”
Thus ends the vision.
Sunset: Similar procedure; I remembered to vibrate the names of Governor Genadol & King Hononol.
King Bobogel bids me relax, but less than last time. He says that it helps to recite these calls a bit more quietly, he says. He says that, just to wrap up the elements, this is the first of four conclusions, and this be of fire. He asks me to note that the first two elements of these last four days, fire and water, are the first and the last of the zodiac, and that their complements, earth and air, are done in reverse order, so that the last (water, receptive, nocturnal) is complemented first, and the first (fire, projective, diurnal) is complemented last.
I feel an interesting tingling off of Leaf 7. I recite Bobogel’s name seven times, and he bids me sit up straighter, but still relaxed. I continue to concentrate. I see a large, oval-like object, almost like a multicolored blimp, above me, with a large circular hatch and handwheel at bottom. When I open the hatch, a sphere of fire comes about me, but it’s like all of these watery, earthy, airy, and also fiery elements are within it, coloring the wheel from the inside. Yet as I go about, the exterior is clearly fiery. So this is very much like the subquadrants of the fire tablet.
I note aloud that this is of interest to the rainbow body, in terms of the fullness of one’s humanity being expressed. I’m told that yes, this is the beginning of that actual process, so that is being locked in, or opened up, or unlocked, or realized. Furthermore, the message is that, yes, all of these Watchtower powers have existed within humanity itself, but by seeking the angels, we can become more like unto them, which is a specifically angelomorphic message.
Now the angels bid me rise above the earth astrally, so I do. I see four doors in outer space, and they all open in front of me, and from each of them comes the same whitish combination of the four elements: in equal portions a smoky, breezy, watery, claylike something. They all integrate within me. I’m interpreting this again as each of the subquadrants of the fire tablet that my feet are upon. The angels mention that all of the work that I’ve done with respect to the Watchtower leaves on previous days are now coming to me as one.
Now I’m being given an actual golden crown, which I’m told is a crown of fire (but it is not flaming), by King Bobogel. I express my gratitude to him and he says, “You must needs be crowned three more times, and then the triple crowning of the last three days will occur.” He goes to one knee and bows to me. I thank him and say, “Please, we are both kings here,” and he replies, “Yes, but your kingdom is in two different realms.”
With that, thus ends the vision.
Gebofal, Day 42
Sunrise: Call/Key 8, (as the seventh spoken call–the first “not to be spoken”–most practitioners refer to this as call 7). Vibrated title of Leaf 8b. Vibrated God names “ORO,” “IBAH,” and “AOZPI.” Calls to, in order, King Carmara, Prince Hagonel, King Bnapsen, Prince Brorges, and King Bobogel.
King Carmara appears, with King Bnapsen to my left and King Bobogel to my right, which reflects the order of the three seals on the fire tablet, which my feet rest upon. He says, “Today, a holy miracle is occurring. These two planets,” (i.e., Saturn and the sun), “set opposite each other within the zodiac,” (i.e., as their respective signs of domicile of Aquarius and Leo as well as their respective signs of exaltation, Libra and Aries), “are now reconciled. Today,” King Carmara continues, he will indeed give me the powers of fire related to transportation and of gold/precious stones. “This will be of the sun in Aries,” I’m told. King Carmara says that he will postpone the movings of King Bnapsen (i.e., his assignment to today, a Saturday) until Wednesday (due to the shift in order which King Bnapsen previously worked through with me). Today, King Bobogel is given power, for the purposes of this scrying, of King Bnapsen, for this allotment of time, and then King Bnapsen will take it back on Wednesday, due to the power of King Carmara. Prince Hagonel is doing the same thing for Prince Brorges, who will also take all this power back on Wednesday, which is fitting for he is partly of the Mercurial influence.
With all of that out of the way, King Carmara once again speaks, as his right as High King (and having worked this change-up in rules), for this scrying regarding the gold/precious stones and transportation in fire. “Let us begin with the most obvious: transportation. Without fuel, so very little travel would ever be possible.” Humans have learned a great deal about how to be less dependent on fuel (for we cannot burn our way through all of our problems), but that being said: “Planes, trains, and automobiles”: all of these largely still run on fuel (and the burning thereof). It is from this fuel and this intense burning, this explosion–or in the case of older trains, the conversion of water into steam via the burning of coal in the engine–all of this is due to the power of fire, which separates the points, which can then cause motion directly by the sheer force of the energy.
Then he moves on to the power of fire with respect to gold and precious stones, beginning with the latter. “Note that yesterday one of the topics that came up was magma cooling as a means of creating precious stones; this indeed is the power of fire to create something like this: that very heat.” He says regarding diamonds, “Pressure creates heat, does it not?” He reminds me of Boyle’s law (actually Charles’ law, but it and Boyle’s law are related–the error is mine because it’s been a while since I had high school chemistry), and says that this pressure can create the heat necessary to restructure the carbon atoms into a diamond. “Yea, it is caused by the weight of earth,” but it is that weight combined with the transfer of heat that caused the diamonds to take on the form.”
Now I feel some energy come up off all of the points of contact: Leaf 8b, the seals of Kings Carmara, Bnapsen, and Bobogel; the fire tablet, and the Holy Table of Practice. King Carmara says, “Behold, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth: look thee to this power of gold. This power of gold, this reflection of the true self (if one can get at it truly, undisturbed by the elements)–this power of gold in fire: why be it exalted in fire [(i.e., as is the sun in Aries)]? And why, indeed, as a preview to tomorrow, why be it so powerful in Leo, the royal sign? It reflecteth something true, does it not? It reflects that heart of the sun. It[, the sun,] is so bright that it cannot be looked at directly. For this reason, people must close their eyes, must bow their heads. For royalty, [which is often bedecked in gold,] this is a nice treat. For this causeth people to look down and merely see the indirect benefit of the monarch.”
However, he says, “consider also the fact that today be a Saturday,” so we are switching things up as far as the order [of the kings] is concerned, he notes. “But if the light be not in agreement [with the kingdom,] and causeth not beneficence, then people take aim at the monarch, and seek to kill, because the arrangement is blinding and cruel, like someone who is not allowed to close their eyes when forced to look at the sun, so they will do anything to stop it, for it is out of control. It is not doing what it is supposed to do. It is creating harm rather than help.” (Note: Saturn be equally blinding by simply being a generally darkening influence). “Consider also the crops which fail on account of too much sun and[, due to its heating influence, or the exclusion of clouds on too many sunny days,] thus not enough water. In that case, the sun means only death [by means of the failure of crops]. So there is this link [between Saturn and the sun].”
King Bnapsen’s seal is especially energizing in agreement. King Carmara continues: “There is this link between the sheer force of life on account of the sun, and yet that can tend to call forth the force of death, unless the force of Saturn be appropriately applied in other ways.
“Returning to the concept of gold: gold, as you saw yesterday, reflects so much. It reflects an inner truth, and yet, at the same time, there is this inner truth of evil, of that which must be appropriately contextualized. So here we come to the problem of alchemy, and of turning lead into gold. The truth is,” and here he speaks in very high metaphor, “that there needs to be diamond within the lead, about which be a gold box, as you have seen it [as a transparent sphere within a black sphere, which is within a white cube–which I have seen in previous visions]–or, put another way, gold reflected that truth of the heart of an individual, and so it is almost as if it needs to be closest–the true heart needs to turn the gold more into a diamond, does it not?” I agree. “Because that gold of the inner core needs to then work up on the nature of evil, contextualize it, understand it, come to see it for what it is, facing one’s fear, one’s true fear, one’s root of fear, and then…and then the…” I struggle to concentrate, and vibrate King Carmara’s name seven times.
“One, with this gold in its exaltation [e.g., of Aries,] knowing one’s True Will, begins that process, then can face the fear, then one begins to see those two things as part of the same coin. So they become reconciled in this way. The True Will sees that it must contend with the nature of fear and evil in order to have even emerged, and yet at the same time, the nature of evil comes more and more linked, in the person’s mind, to how the True Will itself becomes defined. So evil must be contextualized, yet at the same time, evil in its way tends to define, so these are reconciled with the transparent sphere, which we can liken unto a diamond.”
I ask whether King Carmara, speaking on behalf of the other kings, or if Prince Hagonel, speaking on behalf of Prince Brorges, or even King Carmara speaking on behalf of Prince Hagonel, on behalf of Prince Brorges–if they have anything further. They say no. “Continue thou this work.” Now I see the sign of Sagittarius, and I ask if this has anything to do with what they have said. They reply, “Yes, but we will follow the format once more at solar noon, and then tomorrow we will begin the lessons of the angels of medicine and of natural substances. For this, indeed, is a preview of that, is it not?” I reply yes (for we have seen the balance about desirable and undesirable qualities, which are contextualized by the heart, which itself is contextualized by its environs).
With that, King Carmara bids me farewell, and thus ends the vision.
Noon: Similar procedure.
King Carmara comes up to me straight away and says, “Look. Next week is going to be a big deal. When you reach this day [next week], give yourself grace, and really try to block out absolutely everything else, so you can just focus on this [gebofal] in the time you need to focus on it, because it will take a long time, and it will be a serious matter.”
I ask regarding the final three calls if I should be calling on the Heptarchy, and he says, “No. Do not call on that Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Do not call upon us. You will be given visions on those three days, but it will be three [times per day] within three [days], so it will be the nine once again.”
King Carmara says that he will just very briefly go over the powers of gold and precious stones, and also of transportation, within elemental fire [according to zodiacal sign]. With respect to Sagittarius, the liftoff [of a plane,] the grand story that tends to get pulled along [with transportation] or that is implied with that: “That’s with respect to transportation, and also, with respect to gold and precious stones: the tendency to give away and be generous,” he continues. As I type this up, I hear, “almost as if the gold and precious stones either be too hot energetically to hold for too long, or that Sagittarius gains warmth in the heart from the giving thereof.” During the actual session, he finishes up with Sagittarius: “[to give away, and be generous with,] what one has learned, with the spoils of the quest: the hero returns and gives away the gold to the villagers, and the same thing with jewels.” (Note: Sagittarius is closely linked with going out and returning with new knowledge.)
“With respect to Aries,” King Carmara transitions, “you have already seen it, but it is a bit of the the effort that it takes to go into it! So it is that energy that it takes to gain the gold and precious stones, and also, with respect to transport, it is even that desire to go, because of that impulse to go,” and as I type this up, I hear, “the urgency because of the desired goal, not for the sake of going.”
During the session, King Carmara rounds out the third fire sign, Leo: “Once again, we have the royalty, the adornment of jewels, the proper sense of their meaning, the appropriate grandeur,” and this is the big word, I’m being told, “all of that. With respect to travel,” and here King Carmara advises that this will be important to me, for Jupiter is in my first house in Leo, and of course my ninth house is full, “and transportation in particular, we have that constant,” (i.e., fixed), “burning, the constant fuel use that we already saw in the previous vision, and also we have the…the…” and here I must redouble my effort to concentrate, and vibrate his name seven times, “we have a little bit of that pioneering spirit, that exploratory spirit. Someone literally leaves home to seek his fortune. It is that person finding themselves along the way with the journey.” A lot of that is also within Sagittarius, but this is that solar sense. The desire for fortune might be Sagittarius, but the desire to find oneself along the way would be more Leo.
“All of these [signs and powers therein] have been covered, have they not?” “Yes,” I reply. King Carmara returns to the matter of the 7699, and says, “Don’t expect a solution. Continue to do the due diligence with respect to the other numbers. [Solutions for] one or two of them will occur, but also allow this one [the program seeking a solution for this number] to run its course. The Lord High, in His Mercy, has granted unto thee a small opening with respect to the 69636,” (which I did receive a solution for, involving all of the servient angels of the Aethyrs of LIL, ZIP, POP, and RII). “So it was, and you gained a great deal of insight from that, but don’t expect them for all of these.
King Carmara wishes to speak more about next week. “When you reach the end–and of course you are on the second half of Leaf 8, which actually be the first half, but the ‘first shall be last,’ and ‘the last, first.’ Expect that with each element that occurs [i.e., as I complete the powers of an element as each of the first four days of the last week are finished], that you will get the sense that you have all–at least, within Enochian–all that is capable of being had there will seem to unlock. It will seem to unlock at least–it will unlock the path ahead to each of those [elements], which is to say that you go through a series of [four double] doors, and then there is the fixed stars of the elements themselves,” he says. “Trying to bring all of these into focus at once, you will, of course–it is very difficult,” he says, “But a bit of the triad–and you’re getting a sense of this in your heart now, aren’t you?”
“Yes,” I admit, for my heart is glowing with a wonderfully good feeling. “The application of each of the crosses [within the Watchtower tablet] [to] the xy- axis, the yz- axis, and the xz- axis is coming about. It is coming within you, and so you will apply this same principle over and over and over again. You will find that you can rotate each of these [tablets into] combinations,” (actually, permutations, but I was deep in vision here!), “and you will find that factorial which is six of each of the directions that can be occupied [within a plane], with any given orientation, so 24 in all.”
Let me jump in with the math. The factorial number is used for combinations where order matters, which it does in this case. The usual order of the tablets is Fire-Air-Earth-Water, but here are the possible permutations with Fire first:
- Fire-Air-Earth-Water
- Fire-Air-Water-Earth
- Fire-Water-Air-Earth
- Fire-Water-Earth-Air
- Fire-Earth-Air-Water (the original Watchtower transmission)
- Fire-Earth-Water-Air
Continuing with the rest of the elements, you would eventually find 24 unique permutations, and this number is known as 4!, which you find by multiplying 4*3*2*1 = 24. The “directions” he’s referring to are, for example, East. If fire is in the east, then we have six of these permutations. If it is in the North, we have another six, and so on until we have all 24 of these possible permutations.
Yet note that he speaks with respect to a plane, and we have three of these, for a total of 72, and this is only with respect to the permutations of the elements within the tablet, not the number of angels. Recall that there are 4 types of so-called “lesser” angels per direction (16), 4 types of kerubs (16), each of which is controlled by two names of God (8), for a total of 40 names per tablet. In addition, there is the king who has two forms, one wrathful and one peaceful, as well as his full name (3 names total), as well as the 6 elders over which he rules: 49 names in all. Multiplied by four elements, we have 196 angels, each of which may be grouped differently about each of the “controlling crosses” of the subquadrant, if these permutations do indeed flow down to those quadrants. The exercise of finding the total number of angelic permutations of this across all three dimensions…is left to the reader.
After resetting my concentration, King Carmara continues: “This much has been given unto you, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth! Rejoice! Revel! Give thanks unto the Most High most of all.”
Sunset: Similar procedure.
I’m told to relax right away (I need to work on relaxing!). I can already feel the energy coming up off of the seals and off of the fire tablet. Again, the angels remind me to measure my heart. All five of the angels are present in this vision and remain as figures (rather than fading into the background).
King Carmara comes forward to speak. I try to concentrate. I ask for help with my heart, and he says he will do his best. He reaches both hands inside of my heart chakra, and it’s warming up. He bids me ease into the changes he is making, and I feel this reactive personality. He says, “Don’t be so attached to what you think you are.” That helps.
“Relax now, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth,” King Carmara says, so I try to relax even more, but he instead instructs me to just go straight into trance, so we induce me into hypnosis. Having reached the trance, he comes forward to speak, and shows me the same split in the sky as yesterday. This time, the light that is coming about me is a clear light. It is partly of the solar aspect, but I think, because there’s this Saturnian aspect mixed in, it’s this clear, transparent light. It’s coming about me and meeting about me with all three axis lines of Cartesian space, with perhaps a fourth dimension of time, through which I’m slowly moving.
Yet there are seven lines about my heart as well. I’m bidden to wobble about the origin point slightly (and then return). It’s like when I do, it’s just the tiniest of wobbles, and I’m seeing all of these different possibilities move into place. The angels say, “Look behind you,” and so I try to rotate, but the angels instruct me to use my 360-degree astral vision instead. So I try to open it up, and it’s like there are these monsters behind me. The angels say, “This is what your 12th house is like. You need to open it [the vision] up to be able to see it.” So I open this astral eye even more, and it’s because it’s the part that I avoid that this has taken on this energy, I’m told. Instead, what I need to do is see it as a part of me and welcome it into me, so I do. Suddenly the monsters transform into a pastoral scene.
Now I’m told to wobble about this origin point in 10D space, and I do. It’s this very subtle energy. “This is the subtle energy of the exaltation of the sun in Aries: everything feels right to the individual, unless one creates massive challenges for oneself. It’s that feeling of being right and not having a care in the world. That’s this sun in Aries energy: for this reason, I’m told, the natural substances come more easily, the medicines come more easily to this [exaltation] degree: all of the different [Watchtower] powers: the powers of gold[, for example]. It is important to see that, and be reminded of the carefree attitude, but such is the nature of this final [element of the powers of gold/precious stones and transportation, fire, associated in gebofal with] the [exalted] sun in Aries, this final trip to an element “before we get into the subtlest of powers, which is to say, that of natural substances and of medicines.”
I feel myself taken in by this energy of the sphere, which approaches me directly from the surface of the sphere, not as indirectly as with other spheres to this point. I’m told by King Bobogel directly that tomorrow [the arrangement of tablets reflects the sun in Leo], that it will be different. Tomorrow will be the beginning of the final seven days. He bids me avoid the shadow side of the temptation of these powers. I ask for help with this and he says that he will give such help as he can, as will the Most High. He advises me to avoid becoming overly grandiose [for tomorrow the Leonine solar energy may bid my personality to do so]. “But we will once again go through all of the powers [by sign], as before.” Then he will bid me adieu, with the exception of Wednesday, when he will be there to support King Bnapsen.
King Bnapsen himself says that he will do similarly for me with the powers of air [by sign], on Wednesday, taking with him [with the aid of King Carmara] the powers of Saturn. King Carmara says he will see me again through three of the days this week (which I do not understand, for he has bidden me not to call him on Thursday and Friday, and so I’m only due to call him Monday and Wednesday. Oh well).

Gebofal, Day 36
Sunrise: Call/Key 14, (most practitioners refer to this as call 13, because it is the 13th spoken call, where as the true first call was “not to be spoken”). In order, calls to: King Bobogel, Prince Bornogo, King Baligon, King Carmara, and Prince Hagonel (the last two I decided to add at the last minute, since multiple royals were involved). A lot of energy was present. Note: Whenever it seems that King Carmara is speaking as his King Baligon form, I indicate so in brackets within the quote. Note that I am working with the Water Tablet, so this is a
The vision begins with King Carmara adjusting the method I will use for these final days of gebofal for days in which multiple kings should be called. He directs that instead of calling on King Bornogo first (the rationale being that it be his day and hour, i.e., those of the sun), instead I should call King Carmara (AKA Marmara–the first “M” is silent), then Prince Hagonel, then the king of the day, then the prince of the day and finally any other remaining kings). The timing matters less at noon and at sundown, since the timing must of necessity be different, but calling according to the normal timing of the king and prince of the day couldn’t hurt, but, King Carmara acknowledges, is difficult. In other words, there isn’t a need to follow this strict timing, because King Carmara is high king and can be called at any day and time, and, he says, he can bring about the inclusion king or prince to be involved.
There’s a lot of energy coming up off of the leaf now. King Carmara uses his right as high king to speak for Kings Baligon and Bobogel (the latter two bow, as do the two princes). “Let us speak about the Mechanical Arts with respect to water. You have already had in your mind the idea of a rudder or of a propeller. These are indeed Mechanical Arts of Water. Any seafaring enterprise: I [as Baligon] am included in the Mechanical Arts thereof. This would include Navigation.” Once again, we’re seeing a crossover between the elemental forces of electromagnetism (fire) in water (seafaring): “It depends on the purposes thereof,” he clarifies. “The confusion you had yesterday was, ‘What is the purpose of the Mechanical Art of Air, and how does is that involving electromagnetism[, which is of the nature of fire]?’ Well, it was the balancing” –(Libra)–“or binary”–(Gemini)–“nature of the circuits. To some degree you’re going to have that, upon any ship. Note: as humanity has advanced, many of these different kinds of Mechanical Arts become as one. So, any Mechanical Art involving a ship, I am involved with.
“Also consider the Mechanical Art of the chemicals which go into biology, for example. Any kind of chemical reaction which must needs be done in a water solution: there I[, as Baligon,] be,” King Carmara elaborates.
“Finally,” he concludes, “consider also now the powers of Transformation associated with Water. O, so much Water can transform! It can dissolve, as we have already noted, and it can also cause great floodings, great hurricanes: things of this nature. So that is how it is found in nature: how might it be found in humanity?
“It depends on the nature,” King Carmara explains, “and we won’t divert you to discussion of this with respect to the astrological signs just yet: this we will do this afternoon.” Here I must pause to allow the transmission to come through clearly. “Water can transform crops that humanity works upon, so irrigation: that is the [transformative] power of water. Water as it relates to food, to crops, to [avoiding undesirable] flooding” are related to the Transformative power water, he continues. “But the main thing is ecosystems, biology. ‘Water is life,’ is the phrase. We do not say, ‘Fire is life.'”
King Carmara continues: “Drinks and transformations thereof, and IV fluids.” He bids me note much medical transformation related to water. That which is related to medicine and to the blood: “Blood has its own unique significance to Spirit, but regardless, most of it is water, and lymph [is also]. So all of these things can be transformed best by calling upon the tablets. Frankly,” he advises, “it’s probably best that you call upon all of the angels [of all four elements, which are associated with a given power,] as you have done in the past, and just request help.”
“Let’s talk about Venus in exaltation,” King Carmara transitions. “It is good that you called upon me so that I could bring forth this power. Venus in exaltation in Pisces: we have the fish, the transporting of the fish, the ability of the water to go any which-way: the grand freedom of this. It is pleasant enough to not do that much! It can be quite lazy, can’t it? Or it feels liberating to be in that flow state. It feels very pleasant to be in that state. Hence why so much has been written about it, and it can also be empowering, so one can begin to bring in that Jupiterian influence.
“So both of these things happen at once: water, flow, knowing where to go, and to do it all much more quickly [and easily] than you would realize,” he concludes. “This is Venus in its exaltation. So,” he remarks, “it was a little difficult for you to get here, but it is good that you did, because now you yourself are even feeling the pleasantness of this in your body”–he’s correct, and it feels good to even type this up–“and your mind is now at ease. It is good that you continue to work at [perfecting the method]: this is the nature of Jupiter at the final degrees of Aquarius, so do not feel too bad. You may even look up the term and decan if you wish.” I do so: it is the term of Saturn and the Decan of the moon, which is near the end of Capricorn. “All in all, good job,” he encourages me. “Continue to work with this same format: again, do not worry so much about the timing now that I have invoked. You see that there will be no need to be concerned with it, although you may if you wish. Very good, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth.”
Thus ends the vision.
Noon: Similar procedure: I neglected to do this in the morning, so this time I added seven calls to the godnames of OIP, TEAA, and PDOCE.
King Carmara once again chooses to speak for the remaining princes and kings. “Let us now consider water as a mechanical art, when it comes to Pisces, Cancer, and Scorpio.
“It’s going to be easiest with Scorpio, so let’s begin there. In addition to all of the other matters at hand, mechanical arts would be all manners of plumbing, pumps: anything having to do with the pumping of water, but to some degree this also applies to other liquids, which are the same category, in terms of melting and boiling point and similar qualia of water. Also, [as with a previous vision], diagnosis without seeing the matter: this is something of a fixed sign ability, but for Scorpio the difference is the diagnosis of something especially hidden, that is dangerous to be apprehended without special equipment (or perhaps even impossible).” He specifically references exploring a site like the Fukushima nuclear power plant, going into the water of the wrecked plant, but even without the water, the dangerous task of doing so. The Mechanical Art would going in or indirectly observing long enough such that information can be gleaned and worked upon: such information would be impossible to directly apprehend. Yet Scorpio is very good at understanding pressure and many hidden things. “Delving,” he adds, and “many underwater things would be Scorpionic. Irrigation, which was previously mentioned, because it involves plumbing-like action, is more Scorpionic, but has some Piscean aspects as well. Those would be the Mechanical Arts related to Scorpio in particular.”
He wishes to move on to Pisces. I concentrate to improve the quality of King Carmara’s transmission. “Consider the Mechanical Arts related to Pisces: this would be like the Mechanical Art of understanding the tides [and currents], and all oceanic ecosystems fall under Pisces,” he explains. “All of the water signs to some degree, but specifically Pisces.” I ask if he has anything else, and he says, “Yes: medical equipment–if it’s a puncture, such relates to Scorpio, so an IV drip into would belong to that sign. But if it’s trying to figure out what’s already happening to the flow of somebody, even heart surgery “–and here I see an open heart undergoing such–“the heart itself would be more like unto the Pisces. Again we’re getting away from some of these typical associations: heart center is Leo. Heart in terms of an organ acting to pump the water-like substance of blood, and the Mechanical Arts related to that: that is Pisces. If it were more of a surgery related to perhaps a valve (or the veins and arteries), such would be more Scorpionic. But other kinds of surgeries to remove some kind of blockage–there’s a bit of overlap.” I pause as I wait for the transmission to continue clearly. He continues, “You already have a large one with the ecosystem, but the problem is that your view isn’t as big.” Now I see a dolphin: “Yes,” he says, “sonar would be a good example of a Piscean technology, despite the dolphin being an aquatic mammal and not a fish.
“When it comes to Cancer,” King Carmara transitions, “here we have all sorts of Mechanical Arts related to shells, which are designed, indeed, to protect what’s inside. So airbags, despite their also having an Aquarian element due to the compressed air, you also have Cancer in them. More generally, the metal cage of an automobile, helmets, or any kind of armoring: that is the mechanical art related to Cancer. Again, it seems bizarre [for these to not be of elemental earth,] but these are not structure designed to hold something up. Instead, this is a shell designed to protect the watery lifeform inside.
“Getting to the powers of Transformation: you’re tempted to start with Cancer,” he notes, “but let’s start with Scorpio. Is there any power of Transformation that is not related to Scorpio?” he jokes. Speaking seriously now, he says that Scorpionic powers of Transformation are “Generally being more and more able to take in information and to find deeper and deeper layers: becoming interested in a mystery, all of these sorts of things, and seeing it through [to resolution] after layer and layer is unpeeled to its end to its final conclusion. Such is Scorpio, the transformative power of Scorpio.
“When it comes to the Transformative power of Pisces, here we have an ability to grow: once again, to see all sides of an issue. The circling: circumambulation is a perfect example of this: knowing the circumference as well as the center. This was a lot of work within you,” King Carmara observes, “and yet you did it. So the circumnavigation of the globe would be a similar great of this sort of power. The transformative power of knowing the map of the sea, so that one could actually reach the shore desired. This was massively transformative.” I sense a stronger power and he asks whether I would like to skip it. I ask that he tell me. “You see this circle about the globe; this is going to seem odd, but the transformative power of Pisces relates to tides in the sense that one who has truly mastered this could master the…” and I don’t quite understand it, though it’s related to tides. Finally: I see things hitting the oceans, and ask, “Is this about tsunamis?” “Yes,” he says. “So one could predict a tsunami?” I ask. “Yes,” he repeats.
“Wow, that’s deep.” “I told you it would be,” he smiles. “These are clear-cut examples which we hope you will find useful. Finally, of Cancer, the Transformational power is any time an egg opens up. We speak of Cancer as providing nourishment, by the archetypal mother: so any time a shell is cracked, allowing something new to emerge. Or perhaps what was inside was ugly and what is given birth to is unpleasant. But the power to do that is like Pandora’s box.”
King Carmara says, “Let’s close this for now. Tonight we will have one more vision.” He thanks me and I do my best to thank him more (though I’m unsure if this is presumptuous!).

Sunset: Similar procedure. It was easier to do after some practice.
I relax and note that King Carmara begins by working with my crown chakra; I note much more energy coming off of leaf 14. I see the kings as a triangle with Carmara atop the other two, who are being lifted up into this formation by the princes at bottom. In unison, the kings wish to speak: “Truly the greatest power of Transformation of all of these is that of Love, that of PRONOA. The Divine compassion in you, which you have sought to give to all beings and to all possibilities and unto universe after universe after universe: such is a reflection of the Most High, yet not attaining in as many degrees. Continue thou this work: for much could be said about the effects of the transfer of water from one to another in this love, but indeed, all that needs to nourish one being cometh only in the form of another, for all hath been provided by the Most High.
“Seek you to accept all that cometh across your attention, and seek you to attend to means to be more accepting and compassionate. The Most High hath given you such a great boon. Cherish it! Honor it! Honor Him most of all! Do not worry, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth: for all of these things and more hath already been preordained.”
I feel this change to my subtle body, and it’s something grand opening up. Again, it is this actual Transformation, and this actual change of Mechanical Arts, and again, I feel as if I will be granted the power of this tablet, and of the astrological forces therein. At some level, I am understanding the root, although how to articulate it, I know not yet. The kings encourage me to continue the remainder of the planning (of the final days of gebofal), which is so little now left, mainly the phonetic pronunciation of Leaf 1.

Observations on the Order of the Watchtower Gebofal Calls (Part 2): Updated!

Update 2: I have added King Carmara & Prince Hagonel to those days in which multiple kings & at least one prince must be called, for they are the high king and prince, respectively. See my write-up of Day 36, coming shortly. This also leaves (heh) both King Carmara & Prince Hagonel called times each.
I think I have something of a scheme (subject to change) which explains the different order that I’ve observed with respect to these leaves. Today (Day 35/Leaf 15), the tablet activated was the Air tablet, and because it’s Saturday, it was King Bnapsen who I called. He said that there will be a reversing, several times, of the tablet order.
Yet I have also noted the following: most of the time, the Enochian calls (which, among other things, are associated with the leaves of Amzes Naghezes Hardeh (Liber Loagaeth) of gebofal) sometimes have large numbers (i.e., in the thousands) in them, and these are relatively close to the number of servient angels associated with zodiacal kings in the Aethyrs. Yet there are some calls which do not have them.
Thinking through both of these discrepancies, I had a tentative order to the remaining days’ workings; it was beautiful, it was, in King Bnapsen’s words, “clever,” but “wrong.” Rather than show the original, here’s what he hacked with me during today’s solar noon scrying. I’ll link to this after the fact.
The only thing I’ll note is that tomorrow, Sunday, I will actually call on Prince Bornogo (in addition to King Bobogel). Other days I’m either calling on only the king or a king and prince jointly. Saturn and the sun invert their associations for exaltation and fall, so there are two days when their influences are combined (“the last shall be first, and the first, last.“)
The second of these, the last elemental day (yet n.b. that two watchtower calls remain on Thursday & Friday, and Leaf 1 I will read on Saturday), falls on Wednesday, yet King Bnapsen associated it with the Sun and Saturn. When I call on Prince Brorges the Saturday prior, it is nonetheless during Mercury’s hour). Mercury is mercurial! By then, astrological Mercury will be in exact trine to Saturn, and the sun the sun is transiting will be ruled by Venus, who will be in Mercury’s sign of Gemini. Finally, the sephirothic & planetary switch between Raphael and Michael for Tiphareth, Hod, Mercury, and the sun seem somehow reconciled with Saturn in this plan.
In general, he says, this is tailored to me and my natal chart (King Bnapsen notes that my Mercury is in Aries, the sign of the sun’s exaltation), so your results may vary.
Finally, note that the tablet order changes from:
- Water-Earth-Fire-Air (West-North-East-South, which suggests the night, a reversal of the day), to
- Air/South-Water/West-Earth/North-Fire/East (shifting the order by a single tablet), then
- Air/South-Water/West-Earth/North-Fire/East (again), and finally:
- Fire-Water-Earth-Air, which, interestingly, has the “first and last” from the previous two rounds reversed.

Gebofal, Day 30: Highest Aethyr, LIL
Sunrise: Call to Aethyr of LIL. Call to King Blumaza. Note: If you’ve never done Enochian, this Aethyr is quite powerful. After scrying this Aethyr the first time in 2019, I took steps to try to initiate myself into Chokmah and, for this Aethyr, Kether. After meeting with some success thereby, I was able to deepen the vision of this.
I see this pure, white sphere. It’s like it’s trying to shine out all of these different colors, and I feel my crown chakra lifting and raising up. There’s a lot of lightning coming off of this sphere now, and now it is so bright because it is reflecting all of the light which ever has come to reflect off of it. It is blindingly light now, and I am being wrapped up in a beam from it. It is holding me and taking me into a cocoon and it is taking me inside of itself.
This is the Diving Heart of Hearts. I approach the Center, and I’m slowly decelerated as I approach It. When I look about me, I see all of these thousands of millions of possibilities of beings, and I’m having compassion towards all of them, all of these lives lived, moments of Joy, Sorrow, Horror, and Peace. I’m seeing them through millions and billions of species’ eyes. I’m just trying to maintain this level of compassion for all of them.
I feel all of these moments come through me now, rotating from the outside to the Center, where I am, as through a torus, and I continue to have this rotation, and as I speed it up…it’s like they’re both at this Center and about the Surface of the Sphere simultaneously. No longer is this a rotation, this is a humming, a sympathetic vibration.
Now I feel the energy coming up off the leaf, the table, and the seal of King Blumaza under my foot. I hold this compassion, and await any message from the Divine. There’s such a beautiful feeling of peace right now; it’s like I’m lying in a bed of Compassion and the feeling that comes over me from lying there is Peace.
“Oh, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth: this which you have sought for so long, it be only 19 days hence. I have put it in your Heart to read this first leaf, for it was to be read. Know this, that such Love is neither earned nor unearned, it is neither conditional nor unconditional, for this is PRONOA: it merely is. It is always available to you and to your fellow human beings, and to the animals and to the plants and to all of this life upon this planet Terra, or in English known as Earth: CAOSG.
“It is always available unto you, if you look for it, if you seek it, if you steep yourself in it, and all of its infinite varieties. The Love of solving a complex problem, the Love of merely holding one who is mourning, the Love of joining in to the rejoicing of grand moments of Beauty. It is always available unto you.
“And now, feel you this change about your subtle body as you prepare to enter into this realm of Adam Qadmon. Feel it in its fullness, for I am the One True God, and show Myself in Many Different Aspects, many different divinities, for all gods are One God, and what there is to be known and what is to be grokked, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth: it is far beyond your understanding, and I will merely do what can be done to bring it out in you, to unfold it in you, to make it more visible to you, to give you Perspective, yea: Coelispex, so that you, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth, may help unfold it in others, and be able to unfold it in all of its infinite variety: TON DAMPLOZ.
“Such Love have I to you, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth, and to All. For All may come unto me. All may know this Love. Fear not the words which arise out of your mouth, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth, for the Spirit of the Lord is with you and speaketh through you. Yea, even when thou knowest it not.”
My voice is caught in my throat: “O God, is there anything else?”
“No, Son of God, Son of Man, Son of Earth: you have two more times to call upon this today. You will know it in its fullness this evening: yea, when you repeat the word ‘LIL’ seven times. Such sevenfold depth you will know, and then, 19 days hence, you will enter into this realm of Adam Qadmon, and you will realize this rainbow body. Much love unto thee. Commence now.”
Union, and then: “Such Beauty there is in this, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth. I have nothing else for you today, until you call me again at noon, and again at sunset. Much love to you, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth: remember always: God hath such love, hath such PRONOA, for thee.”
The vision ends.
Commentary: I see the phrase “One True God” as the Divine identifying the truth of unity, and “show Myself in Many Different Aspects, many different divinities, for all gods are One God,” as the Divine unifying across all panthea (e.g., possibly panentheism) “and what there is to be known and what is to be grokked, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth: it is far beyond your understanding” as an obvious reference to my limits. So, please, be forgiving if this doesn’t match up with your worldview. Peace and love, peace and love!
Noon: Similar procedure.
The angels have me make some physical adjustments. Again I see a white sphere, this time with a vertical ring about it; I note that it reminds me of the rings of Uranus, and doing so causes it to appear a bit more bluish, but it returns to white shortly. The ring comes undone at the point farthest from me and once again approaches and enfolds me like a cocoon, and again takes me to the center.
Again, I see the interior of the sphere, and I slowly come to a pause. I see again all of the experiences of all of the beings, and God is once again showing me all of the possibilities which could not be (i.e., foreclosed based on actualizing certain previous possibilities). God shrinks down the pictures of actual experiences of beings and now I see this vast space between all of them, and it’s this massive light, and I see how very close I am to this portal to the realm of Adam Qadmon. I see the vast spaces of unbounded possibility, and both Binah and Chokmah, in this vast emptiness of potentiality which cannot be, are ineffective in that Binah cannot receive, and Chokmah cannot project.
I’m told to try my best to have as much compassion as I can for all of it, equally, and I do, and I do, and I do: it just magnifies, and once again I try to speed the flow to the point where there’s this hum reached, and there is. I feel my entire body just lifted or raised up, and it’s this beautiful hum to my subtle body, and I feel energy coming up once again now off of the book (Amzes Naghezes Hardeh, Leaf 20a), more off of the table, and finally off the seal again.
God is saying, “Behold, Blumaza [king of the lunar sephira of Yesod], and with Mars in Cancer [in its fall], and the moon in its fall [in Scorpio]: it is opposing where it is normally in its exaltation, and thus they are receiving each other. So, though they are themselves in a weakened condition, they themselves are nonetheless raising each other up. So this lunar and sublunar sphere can be in a better condition to receive the light, to receive the light of this lunation, and thereby work it into the grand unfolding of All That Is. Thus now you are able to receive the light, such as you are able to receive it.
“Yea, have compassion for those that are in your path! Have compassion for those who are in pain, and have compassion for those who are confused, and have compassion for all that Could Have Been, for the reality in which you are taught by the one whom you must now teach! Have compassion across space and time, and across all of the possibilities that were foreclosed as a result. Just continue to have this Grand Compassion, o Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth, for this is your destiny! This is the unleashing of the Venusian nature within you, much as your sun was released and rectified yesterday in its fullness, so you must know now that today marks the beginning of the unleashing of this PRONOA, of this compassion, for yea, although your capacity to love has been very confused, it has been very difficult: it has [nonetheless] received help along the way, and now receives the Highest of all Help, the Help of the Almighty God Himself, Herself: the Almighty Divine as you have come to know It.”
I just try really hard to focus on this, and to do as I have been bidden, and it’s like I’m now encased in this spherical rainbow jewel, and it’s beautiful, this vibration and hum. The angels are saying, “Yea, it is difficult to unfold completely, this completely spherical consciousness in which all the light is there [as a bright white light], and yet, you have only known What You Have Been Alive to Know, and What You Have Been Around to Experience. Yet the Divine Has Known all of these things In Equal Measure, and so continue to hold this in equal measure, and at times your rainbow will seem like unto a beautiful white sphere. At other times, it will seem like unto the process of putting the black sphere in its proper measure. But at all times, hold, as bet you can, when meeting another, this transparent sphere, knowing them as they are to be known, and allowing them to be as they are, and allowing, to some degree, the suffering which they are choosing for themselves. For in so doing, they can come to know the fullness of God on their own terms, and thus the Law of the Parts will be upheld as well as the Law of the Whole.”
I feel God now within me, and He is reaching into my torso, into my anahata chakra, yes, even the heart of my heart, and He gives it the subtlest of touches and caresses, and it opens so much up in me, and I feel so much, and I’m so grateful unto the Most High for this. He is saying, “Your heart is being prepared. Look you to the elements and approach them with this same transparent heart.”
I say, “O God, please give me the strength and the fortitude and the sensitivity and all that which is needed to do so,” and He says, “This I will give you, and more, and I will give you, indeed, confidence to do so.”
And I ask, “O God, my God, is there anything else?” And he says, “No, Son of Man, Son of God, Son of Earth: go now in peace. Know now that this journey is already a fait accompli.”
Thus ends the vision.
Sunset: Call to LIL. Call to King Blumaza. Due to delays and feeling upset, I neglected the call to the governors, and to the Zodiacal Kings.
The angels bid me to lean back and relax. They acknowledge the emotional content of a day like this. They praise my work at compassion, and say that it is multidimensional work. I grieve into my heart of hearts, and recall how the Divine blessed me by touching this heart. I remain so grateful. I allow myself to feel the emotional pain, and it’s okay.
I see a hand come towards me, and it takes me by the hand and leads me to the center of the white sphere. It’s the hand of Christ, and we sit on rugs and drink tea at the center of this sphere. He shows me His hands and feet, He shows me the scarring about His scalp, and the wound in His side. He notes that my hands are together (in the prayer position, holding Leaf 20 between them), and my feet apart (so as to be touching the sides of the table). In a sense, He notes, that a cylinder could go through my hands at this point. He notes that, in general, my placement of my hands with each other, and my feet apart, is an inversion of the placement of Christ’s own placement. Peter was crucified this way.
He says that I have doubted, and have returned. I have denied, and I have returned, because I have come to accept the pain. He reverts my astral body back into the usual crucifixion pose as a symbol of accepting me. He says that at the center of this cross is the heart: the heart of the heart of the heart of the heart of the heart. He then bids me to repeat the call, this time repeating LIL seven times as had previously been advised of me, “And we will resume.”
I repeat the call to the Aethyr and this time remember to call the Zodical Kings and Governors of the Aethyrs, except I substitute “LIL DE LIL DE LIL DE LIL DE LIL DE LIL DE LIL” (“LIL of LIL of LIL of LIL of LIL of LIL of LIL”) for just “LIL.” Note: this would seem to presuppose that each Aethyr can be thought of as able to be subdivided into Aethyrs within Aethyrs. I have used this technique before and found that you can get into quite rarefied Aire (heh) by doing so.
I’m directly within the sphere again, this time seeing all of these screens of possibilities again, but this time all of these possibilities are whirling about me, as is the space in between, a massive rotation. I’m having compassion even for the forces which are causing this rotation, and this seems to click something into place! And behold, I see again, and I see again, and I see again: I see this massive rotation, and we are approaching this realm of Adam Qadmon, and I’m told that tonight, I will be right at the event horizon, and I will cross right into it tomorrow.
There’s this massive energy, this beautiful light, and it seems to completely encompass this sphere, which now seems more like an egg of a shuttle-pod, surrounded by intense energy and light, and all of the possibilities on the screen, actualized and foreclosed, are increased in intensity, and I continue to hold this compassion for all of them, as I can. I try to turn my compassion up to Infinite: and this is the key word, “infinite”: MAOFFAS MONONS (measureless heart): MAOFFAS MONONS! MAOFFAS MONONS! MAOFFAS MONONS! Measureless heart! Measureless heart! Measureless heart! And this heart is just encompassing all of this, and I see now about me all of this grand beauty, all of this grand heart which is just trying to pour out to all possibility, and to all of this Infinitude.
It is unlike anything that I would have possibly conceived, and I’m trying to stay at both the Center and About Everything, and it is almost too much for my heart to take! And I know that God knows my limits, so I continue (and I nearly weep now) and continue with this Measureless Heart for all of these Possibilities, and just this Potential Itself, that I’m trying to have this Measureless Heart for, this Infinite Heart, as best I can!!
And I’m trying, trying to reflect the Whole [of existence] within me, as best I can, because I know that this is the best as I can be purified as to try to maintain this emotional state, this Vastness of Compassion! “Let it be Infinite! Please, o God, let it be Infinite!” And He says, “Aye, indeed, but you yourself are human and have limits, but indeed, it is the spark of Me within you that chooses to cry out in such ways, and so I will give you as measureless a heart as your system is capable of.” My emotions still run quite high and I continue with this vast feeling of compassion towards all I see, and it is this tragedy that I, as a human being, and yea, even the Divine, have our Limits.
But even working within these Limits, there is so much to be done. There is so much good to be had, and so much Compassion to be had, and so much Peace to be modeled and distributed, offered in pure generosity and compassion for All. I’m feeling this beautiful energy now, coming up off of the leaf, up through my hands and arms and into my torso: and it is God in His Mercy Who is changing me and my entire subtle body now, all the way down through my feet. I especially feel energy coming up from the seal of King Blumaza, and I’m feeling it all about me now, all about this table. And I see the same elongated octahedron arising out of the Sigillum Dei Aemeth. I see the top half encompassed by a sphere, and now the bottom half also, with a filled circle at the middle, as follows:
The spheres represent heaven (future state, and the upper part of the lotus-rose bloom) and terra/earth (present state and the lower thorny stem of the lotus-rose). It is all new to me. All of it in its beauty must be accepted for what it is. These two spheres thus look like unto the symbol for infinity, and a twisted ouroboros, but about many dimensions. I know them to be of many dimensions, but they are represented in 3D here.
The middle ring on the plane perpendicular to the meeting point of these spheres is the Ain Sof Aur of the realm of Adam Qadmon, shooting into the link between heaven and earth. It is Wonderful. I’m told that it is this filled circle in this plane, where these two spheres meet, is what I will circumambulate over the next 19 days.
I ask whether God, in His Mercy, has more to show me, and he says “No.” I thank Him, and the vision ends.
Note: Only now, after all of this time, do I realize the final piece I did not realize before. Gebofal is 49 days long, and there are 49 leaves of Loagaeth. It is not only 7*7, the squaring of the septenary nature of Enochian as a whole, but it is also the sum of the 30 (degrees per astrological sign) and 19. Nineteen relates to manifestation, but also 12 (signs of the zodiac) + 7 (planets), and is also the rounded square root of 360, which is why it is the degree of exaltation of the sun. Once again, the exaltation scheme of Enochian is borne out.
Enochian astrological assignments of the Ensigns of Creation

[The TL,DR: the placement of Enochian astrological ensigns of creation seem to fit the astrological system of exaltation, with adjustments for sect across the equinox line of 0 degrees Aries/Libra). Enochian does not seem to fit the Planetary Joys, which fits the nature of the mystical nature of the sephira into which Enochian guides the initiate: Binah (and its associated Vision of Sorrow). Following the Enochian astrological placements on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life makes intuitive sense if you hold that the ensign of Mercury is referring to Raphael as archangel of Tiphareth and the ensign of the Sun as is referring to Michael as archangel of Hod.]
Episode 255 of The Astrology Podcast featured a discussion with Chris Brennan and Benjamin Dykes about the exaltation of the planets, based on the latter’s translation of Abu Ma’shar. The episode itself is worth a listen as it gives additional rationale to what was already put forward about the exaltation of the planets. This spurred my thinking about the reasons for the assignments of the planets in Enochian, specifically the heptarchical system and the ensigns of creation; the latter is shown below:
In the Heptarchical system, each planet is ruled by an angelic king and its prince, but while the king is always called on the day (e.g., the king for the sun is called on Sunday–though, as Stenwick points out, the king seems to have authority over the sephiroth which the planet rules: Sunday for Tiphareth, Monday for Yesod, etc.) and hour, the Prince is called on the day of the planet but the hour of the planet which follows the heptarchical order above (i.e., the prince for Sunday is called on the hour of the moon). The order above,
Sun–>Venus–>Moon–>Saturn–>Mercury–>Jupiter–>Mars–>(Sun, etc.)
Does not follow the typical hours scheme, which my sources tell me goes back to the Chaldeans, of:
Sun–>Venus–>Mercury–>Moon–>Saturn–>Jupiter–>Mars–>(Sun, etc.).
This seems like a minor detail, but it is one that has bothered me. After all, Dee would request the angels’s views of existing magic and they were known to reply, paraphrasing Jason Louv, “That’s nice,” in the way a parent comments on a child’s drawing, and then provide a corrected version of it (consider the similarity of the Sigillum Dei Aemeth to the geometry shown on the cover of this translation of The Sworn Book of Honorius, for example!). So what is behind the change to the typical planetary hourly rotation?
I wondered whether the exaltations might have anything to do with this. Here is a chart of the exalted planets in their signs:
Things do seem out of order, don’t they? But then I pondered how these planets might look if I included sect rulership:

Finally, it occurred to me that with the start of the zodiac being at Aries, and with Venus being closest to this, I should mentally orient my zodiac about Venus and then add sect into the matter. A mental flipping of the Enochian about this equinox axis looks like this:
Note that the flipped Saturn precedes Mercury in Virgo because it has 21 degrees to shift vs Virgo’s 15 degrees which separate it from the equinox.
Dykes also mentions the interesting zig-zag pattern if you follow the planets according to decreasing brightness:
and here’s the same order with Enochian–interestingly, the same zig-zag pattern does not appear. However, following the luminosity pattern (below) does not follow any of the individual parts of the Enochian counterclockwise path (second figure below), plus, malefics and benefics are both separated by 2+ planets, and the most luminous planets all occupy the highest three positions of the heptagon:
I also wondered whether the Enochian order of the planets also relates to the planetary joys:
Note that the planetary joys are a house-based system, not a sign-based assignment of planets. Regardless, if we put Venus at the top of this pattern, this is the result:

This is now resembling the Enochian heptarchical assignments. A few things to note about the four “mis-placed” planets (according to the original Enochian system):
- The bottom-right three planets are all the heaviest and day-chart rulers (a familiar issue, as seen above!).
- Two of the planets, the Sun and Mercury, have archangels (Michael and Raphael, respectively) whose associations switch when considering the sephiroth they rule (Raphael is the archangel of Tiphareth, which is ruled by the Sun, while Michael is the archangel of Hod, which is ruled by Mercury). Thus, we’ve seen some flexibility in associations across these two sephiroth.
- Saturn and Mars, both malefics, also rule sephiroth on the Pillar of Severity (“on your left”) on the Tree of Life in Kabbalah–as does Mercury.
- The seven classical planets are slightly imbalanced towards the Pillar of Severity as it is; the Luminaries and Benefics together rule four sephiroth, two each on the Middle and Mildness Pillars (though the entire tree itself is balanced).
The Planetary Joys scheme as a means of understanding the Enochian astrological order seems to fall apart (though I’d appreciate any commentary to the contrary–I already tried changing according to sect as above ), but why? Trying to think about why this might be, my mind kept going back to the pillar of Severity–the topmost sephiroth of which is Binah, which is associated with the mystical Vision of Sorrow (as well as the Vision of Wonder). What does Sorrow have to do with Joy? The answer is nothing!
However, what would an initiation of Binah, (“Understanding,”) have to do with exaltation? Why, everything! The exaltation of the human(e) into the Divine, which of course has everything to do with Sorrow (for those who cannot Understand their own Divinity), but Wonder for those who can.
Let me return to the Tree of Life for a quick look at the path as suggested by the ensigns; I’ve removed the sephiroth names for simplicity and shown what happens if we follow the heptarchical path (the path of the sephiroth in order of their ruling planets):
It’s kind of a mess! There’s a jump from Yetzirah to Atziluth & back down again! Then I thought about changing the associations of Mercury to mean Raphael as ruler of Tiphareth, and the sun to mean Michael as ruler of Hod:
This path seems faaar cleaner, and it makes more sense. A balanced person (Tiphareth) takes inventory of all the aspects of the surrounding sephiroth on the Tree of Life (much like the counting of the Omer), and then, having done all of this and found themselves with a solid foundation (Yesod), is initiated (via the Aethyrs) into Binah in Atziluth. After this, the initiate returns to this place of balance, but now with Divine awareness.
“If you’re not already solid in Tiphareth, you’re gonna have a baaad tiiiime.”
Just some thoughts!
UPDATE: I think I’ve come to realize the nature of why the nocturnal sect rulers stay where they are while the diurnal rulers flip. This related to Aleister Crowley’s N.O.X. formula, which focuses around the supernal sephiroth. The idea is that this supernal light is so vast and limitless, it is blinding and as such is “dark” like the night. Since the Aethyrs appear to be initiation into Binah, the system leaving in place the night rulers—but moving the day rulers “out of the way” of initiation into the supernals—makes sense.
Update 2: For reasons relating to septiles, I believe that Mercury should also flip and be treated as of the diurnal sect in this scheme.
Enochian Today
